4th Grade Passport Program

We are happy to announce Detroit Mountain is participating in the 4th Grade Passport program provided by the MN Ski Area Association. The 4th Grade Passport offers every 4th grade student in Minnesota the opportunity to ski and snowboard for free!

The Minnesota Ski Areas Association and its members are offering the 4th Grade Passport which offers free lift tickets for the passport holder.

The goal is to help introduce families to how much fun they can have together outside in the winter. The Passports go on sale each year in late summer and remain available until early February.

With Purchase, 4th Graders will receive a FREE Detroit Mountain season pass!

Just stop in to Guest Services with proof of purchase to receive your 4th graders pass.

Passport Program

Every ski area is different in what they are offering. You will need to contact each area in advance of visiting to see what they will offer.

How to participate:

You will need a digital photo of child and current grade card. You will log on to the website below and fill out your child's information, upload picture and current grade card. Once you have paid for pass, passes will be mailed out by MN Ski Area Association. You are responsible for bringing passport to the ski areas to use.

Why Purchase a 4th grade pass?

The purpose of this program is to introduce new people to the sport. It only offers a limited amount of Lift Tickets to each area. Detroit Mountain offers unlimited lift tickets with this program, rentals not included. Take advantage of this great deal to check out the other great Ski Areas Minnesota has to offer.
